The Port of Djibouti today hosted a ceremony to award the command of the operation Atalanta. It was Admiral Coindreau of the French navy who took the lead in the anti-piracy Atalante By succeeding the Admiral Jan Thornqvist.

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Ali Farah Assoweh and the World Food Programme Representative in Djibouti, Mario Touchette, signed Thursday, August 12, 2010, a Letter of Agreement concerning food aid emergency $ 500,000 to people affected by drought in Djibouti.
